A short descent between the bases of Laroque and Le Moulin offering a big experience. The energetic descent takes in the biggest rapids of the Hérault: a stone weir, the S, the small S, the posts... everything you need to test your kayak skills!

A lovely descent with lots of accessible river banks throughout to enjoy swimming from and picnicking. Easy descent inter spaced with a few gentle rapids. The descent takes about 2.5 hours without breaks. Possibility for children under 10 to descend on a three person canoe. Ideal for families with children six years and above.

In the heart of the Hérault, we combine the 3 km and 9 km descents into a 12 km descent. The descent is more demanding due to its length and technical rapids. The descent takes about 3.5 hours without breaks. You will traverse the lovely village Laroque, taking in its famous weir (a stone slide) making it one of the best descent in the Hérault. Magical and beautiful scenery will please all nature lovers....
Descent available from the age of 12 and only accessible by kayak, or two person canoes.

This descent is particularly enjoyable when the river is at its highest (usually in the spring and autumn). The series of rapids between Ganges and Laroque are an excellent warm up before tackling the rest of the descent. In the summer, we advise taking the 12 km descent to avoid the low water areas in Ganges.

If you are seeking true nature we offer the opportunity to spend a day living with and at the pace of the river. Descending over 19 km from ganges to Issensac (approximately six hours spent on the water) you will have the opportunity to test your adventure skills. Despite not being overtly difficult it is advisable to be in reasonable physical condition before attempting this descent.

Two options available allowing total escapism. Everything included to allow you to spend 48 relaxing hours in the Hérault gorges.

Every Tuesday throughout the summer from 19:00; come and discover the Hérault in a different light (booking essential, max 25 persons)
Program:
9 km descent between 19:00 and 22:00. Aperitif served mid descent.

The wedding is getting close for one of your friends. You are charged with organising their Stag or hen party. Heavy responsibility !
Do not worry, we are here to help you for an original day or weekend. Over one, or several canoe descents the future bride / groom will be equipped with specialised equipment to include, an inflatable rubber duck ring and a captains hat. He/she will need to successfully pass various tests, like retrieving a hook with a fishing net, building a dam with pebbles, imitating a gondolier from Venice, standing up on their canoe etc.... Everything is possible, within safety measures of course!
